Soibifaa Dokubo – โStigmaโ
The creative artist stars in โStigmaโ alongside Hilda Dokubo, Jackie Appiah and Emeka Ike. The film is about a mother and daughter who both through their work as birth attendants contract HIV.
Blossom Chukwujekwu โ โStolen Waterโ
In 2015, Blossom Chukwujekwu did not only win the Best Supporting Actor in a drama at the AMVCAs, he was one of the best dress celebrity of the night. Again this year, his talent has seen him nominated for his role in โStolen Waterโ. ย The film is directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka. Chukwujekwu features in this film alongside Nse Ikpe-Etim, Mary Remmy and Keppy Ekpeyong. The movie is about a senator whose stepdaughter uses his darkest secret to blackmail him.
Olumide Oworu โ โA Soldierโs Storyโ
Olumide started his acting career at an early age. From playing roles on “Everyday Peopleโ and “The Patriots” to MTV โShugaโ.ย Oworu plays the role of the brother of Regina (played by Linda Ejiofor) in the action filmย โA Soldierโs Storyโ written by Frankie Ogar.
OC Ukeje โ โThe Departmentโ
The 2015 ‘Best Actor’ in a drama winner stars in โThe Departmentโ alongside Desmond Elliot and Majid Michel. The movie is about a gang in a secret department of a business conglomerate who blackmail top executives into selling their companies to the leader of the conglomerate, however trouble brews when two members want to opt out.
Chiedozie โSambasaโ Nzeribe โ โA Soldierโs Storyโ
Chiedozie Nzeribe popularly known as Sambasa is a graduate of Creative Arts from the University of Lagos. His big acting break came when he starred in “A Mile From Home” alongside Tope Tedela and Daniel K. Daniel. He’s nominated in this category alongside Olumide Oworu for the movie โA Soldierโs Storyโ. The movie is about a newly wedded Nigeria soldier, Major Egan who goes on a peacekeeping mission in Wazts Republic.
