Dame Zaha Hadid, one the most impactful architects of the 21st Century, has died aged 65 of a heart attack.

Iraqi-born and based in London, Hadid’s “neo-futuristic” designs became some of the most famous sites around the world, including: the ungerburgbahn Stations in Innsbruck, Austria, the Bridge Pavilion in Zaragoza, Spain, the Sheikh Zayed bridge in Abu Dhabi, the Galaxy Soho Beijing and the Aquatics Center, in East London, which became a beacon of the London 2012 Olympics.
