Adeola, the famous actress Jumoke George’s estranged daughter, was trafficked to Mali four years ago and has since returned to Nigeria.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), verified this fact on Monday and shared the news on X, formerly Twitter.

‘“Breaking! Adeola, daughter of popular actress Jumoke George, who had been missing for four years after being trafficked to Mali, is finally back home. We just received her, alongside Biola Adebayo, who first shared the story, and actor Adeniyi Johnson,” Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa wrote.

On Talk to B, actress Jumoke George disclosed that her daughter Adeola vanished after leaving Ibadan for Lagos.

However, she eventually reached out to the family and begged for forgiveness after visiting overseas with pals.

She also talked about her financial and health issues, stating that she had to down acting offers and take out loans for roughly ₦400,000 in medical testing.

Host Biola Adebayo confirmed Jumoke is currently receiving treatment at a public hospital in Lagos.
