The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has recovered from Coronavirus. This was announced by the State’s Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu, who said that the Governor was tested twice and both results came out as negative for the virus.

The Commissioner therefore said “Governor Ikpeazu is therefore deemed free of the virus according to the extant guidelines of NCDC and the World Health Organisation.”
