Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy will headline the historic NFL halftime show in Paris on October 25, 2026, bringing African music to a landmark American football event. The Grammy-winning singer will perform during the matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France.
The game will mark the National Football League’s first regular-season fixture in France, representing another major step in the league’s international expansion. Burna Boy’s performance will form part of the NFL’s record seven halftime shows scheduled across seven countries and four continents during the 2026 season.
For Burna Boy, the NFL halftime show in Paris also marks a return to a venue where he previously made history. In April 2025, he became the first African artist to headline a solo concert at Stade de France.
Reacting to the announcement, the singer expressed excitement about returning to the stadium and representing African music on a global stage. He also promised fans a memorable performance during the landmark sporting occasion.
The NFL described Burna Boy as a fitting choice for the event, citing his connection to the stadium and African music’s strong presence in Paris. His appearance further highlights the growing international recognition of Nigerian artists and Afrobeats.
Fellow Nigerian singer Ayra Starr is also scheduled to headline the halftime show at the NFL London Game on October 11, 2026. With the historic Paris fixture, Burna Boy continues to expand his presence at major international sporting events, bringing Nigerian music to audiences around the world.
