Lamine Yamal reaches 25 Champions League goal contributions younger than anyone else in history, setting another remarkable milestone for Barcelona. The Barcelona winger achieved the record during Tuesday’s 4–1 victory over Galatasaray, providing two assists after halftime in Istanbul, Turkey.

Those assists helped Barcelona recover from an early deficit and secure an important away win in the European competition today. At 19, Yamal has recorded 12 goals and 13 assists in the Champions League, combining scoring with creative influence overall.

His latest milestone makes him the youngest player ever to register 25 goal contributions in the tournament’s history at 19. Yamal surpassed Kylian Mbappé, who previously held the mark after reaching 25 contributions at an older age in the competition.

The record highlights the Spanish international’s impact despite his young age and short time competing at Europe’s highest club level. Against Galatasaray, Yamal supplied a precise cross for Fermín López before setting up Anthony Gordon with another incisive attacking move.

Barcelona then extended their lead, with Karim Adeyemi completing the scoring as the visitors claimed a convincing four-one result there. Yamal’s performance reinforced his growing importance to Barcelona, where his dribbling, vision, and composure regularly create dangerous attacking opportunities today.

His Champions League numbers also place him ahead of several celebrated stars at comparable stages of their respective careers so far. However, comparisons across generations require context, since players competed in different teams, tactical systems, and match environments throughout their careers.

Lamine Yamal’s 25 goal contributions underline his exceptional start and strengthen expectations surrounding his future in European football.
