‘I have the looks, I’m witty, fearless’: Miracle Echeji eyes BBN

Nollywood actress and broadcaster Miracle Echeji, popularly known as Mimi of Lagos, says she could have won the just-concluded Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality show because of her looks, wit, fearlessness and ability to create drama.

“I have the looks, I’m witty, I’m fearless, and I know how to bring the drama,” she said.

Echeji remarked while reflecting on the reality show, which she followed closely despite not participating as a housemate. She also supported Sheba during the competition.

The actress believes her personality, confidence and communication skills would have made her an engaging contestant in a show driven by entertainment, relationships, conversations and unpredictable moments.

Born on December 25, Echeji hails from Mbaise, Imo State. She holds a degree in History and International Relations and a Diploma in Law from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Her interest in acting developed during her university days. She continued pursuing the craft after graduation before eventually making it her full-time career.

Before transitioning fully into Nollywood, Echeji built her communication and presentation skills through broadcasting. The experience has helped strengthen her audience engagement and on-screen presence.

Her acting credits include Someone Like You, Just a Friend, featuring Maurice Sam, and Compliance, featuring Van Vicker.

She also plays Ozege in Once Upon a Village, a Ruth Kadiri TV production that has garnered more than 36.5 million views on YouTube.

Her upcoming project, Orange Trust, a banking series, is expected to expand her growing portfolio.

Beyond acting, Echeji is open to opportunities in digital entertainment, content modelling, brand influencing, ambassadorships and partnerships. As Mimi of Lagos, she also pursues influencer and content creation engagements.

Although she missed the recently concluded BBN season, the actress remains open to auditioning for a future edition. She believes her looks could attract attention, while her broadcasting and acting experience would help her connect with viewers and deliver entertaining performances.

“I know how to bring the drama,” she said.
