Harry Kane and Bayern Munich Reach Contract Breakthrough on New Deal Until 2029

Harry Kane Bayern contract breakthrough has emerged after England captain and Bayern Munich reached agreement in principle on extension talks. The proposed new deal would keep Kane at Bayern Munich until 2029, extending his current agreement beyond its scheduled expiration.

According to Sky Germany, negotiations have entered their final stage, with both parties now discussing remaining details before signing officially. Kane’s existing contract currently runs until summer 2027, making the proposed extension an important commitment from Bayern management moving forward.

Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, Kane has established himself as one of Europe’s most prolific strikers today. The 33-year-old has scored 152 goals in 154 competitive appearances for Bayern, according to reports published following Monday’s major breakthrough.

His remarkable scoring record has strengthened Bayern’s desire to secure his services while maintaining continuity within their attacking structure today. Meanwhile, Kane has consistently expressed happiness in Munich, while previous comments indicated negotiations were progressing positively toward an agreement again.

The England captain also remains among leading contenders for the 2026 Ballon d’Or after an outstanding campaign last season overall. During the 2025/26 season, Kane scored 73 goals for club and country, further increasing his reputation across European football.

Bayern Munich have now cleared significant hurdles, although the final contract details and official signing date remain unresolved currently today. Once completed, the agreement will provide Bayern with greater certainty around Kane’s future and preserve their leading attacking option soon.
