Tonto Dikeh gifted Bobrisky ₦2 million for his birthday and called him her brother, years after their public feud and reconciliation.
The Nollywood actress celebrated Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, in a lengthy Instagram post.
She described him as her anchor and one of the most reliable people in her life.
Dikeh wrote: “To my brother, my anchor, and the unwavering presence in my life: If you have never experienced the kind of rare, unyielding friendship this man offers, then I can excuse your misunderstandings.”
Dikeh recalls friendship with Bobrisky
The actress also recalled a moment she said showed the depth of their friendship.
She said she once told Bobrisky, “it’s time for war,” and he responded, “how far are we going to fight?”
Dikeh described his loyalty as “irreplaceable” and called him “Bob, my friend in whom I am pleased.”
She later revealed that she had transferred ₦2 million to Bobrisky. Dikeh joked that the money was “only for his breakfast.”
Bobrisky reposted the payment receipt on his Instagram Story. He also reacted to birthday photos Dikeh had sent him.
“Listen to me, Tonto, we ride forever. Even if you become a pastor, I’m still your first love, and it’s forever. I’m so happy with the new you and your growth,” he wrote.
How their friendship was restored
The birthday celebration comes years after the pair’s friendship suffered a public breakdown.
Dikeh and Bobrisky were close friends for about five years before their relationship collapsed in 2020.
The dispute reportedly began after Dikeh unfollowed Bobrisky over a video of him spraying money on someone she considered a rival.
The fallout soon played out online, with both parties trading accusations.
Bobrisky claimed Dikeh owed him ₦5 million and accused her of living dishonestly. Dikeh also made allegations against him.
In late 2021, Bobrisky further escalated the dispute by leaking private chats between them.
The pair began repairing their relationship in 2024. Dikeh had reached out to Bobrisky while he was in EFCC custody.
They later resumed following each other on social media.
Bobrisky subsequently said in interviews that he had missed Dikeh. He also described her as a sister who supported him before fame.
Dikeh publicly celebrated Bobrisky’s birthday again in 2025.
