According to Dapson, most of the reported $100,000 budget went directly into producing the music video for “B4B4.” The filmmaker explained that production costs accounted for a significant portion of the money allocated toward creating the highly anticipated visual.
Dapson also noted that professionals involved in the project would receive their fees from the overall production budget as well. Meanwhile, Mayorkun brings his established Afrobeats identity to the collaboration, adding another recognizable name alongside rising singer FOLA.
FOLA has continued attracting attention within Nigeria’s music scene, making the collaboration an important meeting point between established and emerging artistes. The “B4B4” video therefore combines Davido’s star power with Mayorkun’s experience and FOLA’s growing presence across contemporary Nigerian music.
Although Dapson discussed the reported budget, he emphasized that production expenses represented the larger share of the investment made. Such spending reflects the increasing importance of music videos as Nigerian artistes compete for attention across global digital platforms.
FOLA, meanwhile, gains another prominent platform through his appearance alongside two established names within Nigeria’s competitive Afrobeats landscape.
