Nigerian singer L.A.X has legally married his partner, Ella, in a wedding ceremony in Malta.
The singer announced the marriage on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing photos and a video from the ceremony. He said the couple tied the knot in what he described as “the most beautiful city”.
“Legally hitched to the love of my life, in the most beautiful city,” he wrote.
“Malta, you have our hearts.”
L.A.X had proposed to Ella on January 16, 2026.
Born Damilola Afolabi, L.A.X began his music career as a rapper in secondary school with a group called Flyboiz before pursuing a solo career.
He gained wider recognition in 2013 after releasing ‘Caro’, a hit collaboration with Wizkid under Starboy Entertainment.
The song earned a nomination for Hottest Single of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Following the success of ‘Caro’, L.A.X reunited with Wizkid for another collaboration, ‘Ginger’, which further strengthened his presence in the Nigerian music industry.
