Nollywood actress Stella Damasus has revealed that any man who wants to marry her daughter, Angelica, must be deeply devoted to her, saying, “He has to be obsessed with you: very much so.”
Damasus shared the qualities she expects from her daughter’s future husband during an interview with Pulse Fun Facts.
The actress said respect should come first. She also wants the man to show strong commitment to Angelica.
“He has to fully respect you. Forgive me, but I will say he has to be obsessed with you: very much so.”
Damasus also considers financial stability important. She said her daughter’s future husband must earn enough to support both himself and Angelica.
“Secondly, he has to have more than enough to take care of not just himself but of you too,” she said.
The actress also listed discipline among the qualities she expects. She said discipline should cover a person’s mind, body and overall conduct.
“He has to be very disciplined because it’s easy to say. I want him to fear God, but without discipline of mind, self, body, everything go scatter.”
Damasus added that her expectations do not stop at character and financial stability. She also wants her daughter’s future husband to be physically attractive.
“There are many more. He has to be good-looking as well.”
The actress shares a close relationship with Angelica. Her comments reflect the standards she has set for anyone who hopes to become her daughter’s husband.
