Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Nomy has expressed regret over her disqualification from the reality show, saying her actions were not deliberate.
The reality star, whose real name is Whitney Chukwu, spoke during a recent X Space session. She apologised to her fans and said she would have acted differently if she had known how much support she had outside the house.
“I am sorry to anyone who I have let down. It wasn’t intentional,” she said.
“If I had known I had this much support waiting for me at home, I would have done everything that I could to get to the finale, but I guess it was just meant to work out this way.”
Nomy also thanked her supporters for standing by her during her time on the show.
“I am sorry for letting you down, and I am fine,” she said.
“Thank you for checking on me. Thank you for supporting me, even when you didn’t have to. I am so blessed to have you guys, and I just want to say thank you. I can’t wait to speak and see each one of you.
“You guys have made this whole experience worth it for me. It will not have worked out the way I wanted it to or the way you guys wanted it to, but I am so happy to have you.”
Biggie disqualified Nomy on Monday after she repeatedly defied house instructions. The reality star had earlier received a strike during the second week for the same offence.
