Reports say the cheapest tickets sold out within an hour, highlighting significant interest surrounding Kanye West (Ye) Russia concerts among fans. The performances will mark a major return for Western music in Russia, where many international artists stopped touring after 2022.
West recently faced European cancellations following antisemitic remarks, praise for Adolf Hitler, and controversial Nazi imagery that triggered widespread backlash. Despite those controversies, his planned Russian appearances have generated attention, making the concerts significant beyond their entertainment value for audiences.
Russian promoters announced the dates publicly, while Gazprom Arena confirmed that Ye will headline both October performances in St Petersburg.
