Nigerian music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has unfollowed his wife, Natasha Osawaru, and refollowed his ex-wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, after a reported clash at a nightclub in Abuja.
The reported incident happened on Friday at the launch of the “90s Lounge”, where 2Baba was billed to perform.
According to accounts online, Osawaru arrived at the venue with several men. She reportedly approached 2Baba’s vehicle, prompting a commotion.
Police officers and security personnel later stepped in to control the situation.
An eyewitness claimed that Osawaru wanted to speak with 2Baba upon her arrival. However, the video from the scene does not show what caused the confrontation.
After the incident, reports claimed that 2Baba told Osawaru he no longer wanted to continue their relationship.
A check of his Instagram account on Sunday showed that he had unfollowed Osawaru. She, however, still followed the singer.
The move comes more than a year after 2Baba ended his 13-year marriage to Annie in January 2025.
The singer later confirmed his relationship with Osawaru. He proposed to her in February 2025 before they held a private traditional wedding in July.
On Monday, checks showed that 2Baba and Annie had also followed each other again on Instagram.
The development has sparked reactions online. Some commenters have described the renewed connection as “poetic justice”.
The Instagram changes have also fueled fresh speculation about 2Baba’s marriage to Osawaru.
