‘Black Market’ will debut on September 26, 2026, through an unprecedented premiere designed to celebrate African cinema with global recognition and ambition together. Rather than hosting a conventional premiere, ‘Black Market’ aims to stage an official Guinness World Records attempt during its landmark public screening event.
Organisers plan gathering 50,000 attendees inside Tafawa Balewa Square, surpassing the current Guinness World Records attendance benchmark of 40,000 people together. The ambitious event highlights Nollywood’s growing influence while creating a historic cultural celebration beyond traditional film premieres across Africa and internationally.
Black Market blends an impressive ensemble cast featuring acclaimed actors alongside emerging stars delivering authentic Nigerian storytelling through thrilling cinematic experiences together.




The production stars Lateef Adedimeji, Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, Itele D Icon, Scarlet Gomez, Omowunmi Dada, Teniola Aladese, Susan Pwajok, and Uzor Arukwe. Additional cast members include Folagade Banks, Tomiwa Tegbe, Andrew Yaw Bunting, Shamz Garuba, and Adeoluwa Akintoba, strengthening the production significantly together.
