Mr P thrills guests at Alphonso Davies’ lavish wedding ceremony

P-Square’s Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, delivered a memorable performance at the wedding of Bayern Munich and Canadian football star Alphonso Davies.

The singer shared clips from the ceremony on social media. The videos showed the newlyweds dancing to P-Square’s classic hit E No Easy.

Among the guests was Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala. The German star appeared to be a big fan of the group as he sang along during the performance.

Mr P celebrates the newlyweds

Reflecting on the occasion, Mr P wrote:

“Paris wedding. What a beautiful celebration of love. Congratulations to my brother @alphonsodavies and his gorgeous wife! Wishing you both a lifetime of unconditional love, laughter, peace, and God’s endless blessings. May your union grow stronger with each passing day.

“@JamalMusiala I see you, my bro. It was truly an honour to celebrate this special moment with you both. Love always wins. Remain blessed! Cc @donflexx @ceo_masterpiece @vzhun”

Davies and his wife, Sheyenne Jen, made their relationship public in 2022. The couple got engaged in Dubai on New Year’s Day 2025.

They later tied the knot around July 23, 2026, at Château de Saint-Martin-du-Tertre.

P-Square’s music continues to resonate

Davies wore a burgundy suit with gold accents and carried a cane. Jen complemented his look with a matching gown and a traditional headpiece that honoured his heritage.

Mr P’s appearance at the wedding highlighted the lasting appeal of P-Square’s music. The group’s songs remain popular with fans across Africa and beyond.

P-Square rose to fame in the early 2000s. The twin brothers released several hit albums and singles that dominated charts and dance floors for years.

Their success earned them multiple awards, including the MTV Africa Music Awards’ Artist of the Decade honour.

Music outlives family rift

Despite their achievements, Peter and Paul Okoye have remained at odds in recent years. Their dispute has prevented fans from seeing them perform together.
