Entertainment executive and businessman Soso Soberekon celebrated his traditional wedding to Princess Ebiere in grand style. The ceremony took place in Warri, Delta State. Music stars 2Baba and Timi Dakolo delivered memorable performances that became major highlights of the event.

The star-studded celebration attracted traditional chiefs, dignitaries and several Nigerian celebrities. They gathered to witness the couple’s special day.

Grand entrance sets the tone

Soberekon and his bride arrived in a convoy. Their arrival immediately set the tone for the colourful celebration.

Guests were welcomed by ushers dressed in matching green-and-white traditional outfits. The venue also reflected the grandeur of the occasion. Elegant decorations and carefully chosen colours added to the atmosphere.

For the ceremony, Soberekon wore an off-white traditional outfit with silver embroidery. He completed the look with a matching cap and walking stick. His groomsmen welcomed him in traditional style by striking their walking sticks together.

Princess Ebiere looked elegant in a simple blue traditional outfit as she joined her groom for the ceremony.

2Baba and Timi Dakolo stole the show

The celebration gathered momentum with several performances. One of the biggest moments came when 2Baba stepped onto the stage.

The legendary singer serenaded the newlyweds and performed “African Queen.” During the performance, Soberekon led his bride onto the dance floor. He also showered her with foreign currency, drawing cheers from guests.

The romantic mood continued when Timi Dakolo took over the stage. He performed his wedding favourite, “Iyawo Mi,” which further delighted guests at the ceremony.

Celebrities turn out in large numbers

The newlyweds later spent time with family and friends. They posed for photographs and shared memorable moments with guests.

Among the celebrities spotted at the wedding were Ini Edo, Rita Dominic, Iyabo Ojo, Toke Makinwa, Zlatan and Sabinus. Former Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick was also in attendance.
