Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala is sharing a more personal side of her life, speaking openly about family, love, and the realities of marriage in a revealing interview.
In a conversation with Chude Jideonwo, the media personality reflected on being raised by her mother, Iyabo Ojo, describing her as a strong figure who successfully played both parental roles. She noted that growing up, she never truly felt the absence of a father figure because her mother ensured she was well supported emotionally and mentally.
Speaking on her parents’ separation, Priscilla admitted it was a sensitive topic, revealing that she became emotional when asked about it. According to her, she believes her parents simply fell out of love, a reality she had to accept over time.
Addressing public perception, she responded to claims of being a “nepo baby,” acknowledging that her mother’s influence gave her certain advantages but stressing that she is still building her own path. She also described herself as someone who enjoys a comfortable lifestyle, admitting that she appreciates “the good life.”
On her love life, Priscilla shared a light moment about her husband’s certainty in choosing her, recalling how he once told his doctor that she would become his wife. She described their relationship as intentional, though she noted that perspectives evolve, especially after starting a family. While her husband once spoke about wanting a large number of children, that idea changed after the birth of their first child.
Opening up about motherhood, she described the experience as surreal and intense. She revealed that on the day she gave birth, she was still active on her phone, posting updates despite being in labour. At one point, she said she couldn’t feel her legs, yet remained conscious of everything happening around her.
