Nigerian DJ and media personality DJ Cuppy has sparked reactions online after sharing a video of herself clearing out her wardrobe, marking what she called the end of her “Pink Era.”
In the clip posted on Instagram, Cuppy is seen going through several of her outfits, many of them in her signature pink colour. At the beginning, she says, “Oh, where do I even start?” before admitting, “This spring clean was definitely needed. Too much pink.”
As she continues sorting through the clothes, she makes it clear she’s ready to let go of that phase, saying, “It’s time for these to have a new home. Goodbye.” She later revealed that the clothes would be donated to the Salvation Army, adding that there’s value in reusing and repurposing outfits instead of letting them go to waste.
Cuppy, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, is known for her luxurious lifestyle, so the gesture also highlights her commitment to giving back by donating items she no longer needs.
The video has since generated mixed reactions, with some fans saying they’ll miss her all-pink looks, while others see it as a normal step as she grows and moves into a new phase of life.
