Afrobeats superstars Wizkid and Asake have officially dropped their long-awaited collaborative project, Real Vol. 1, delivering four fresh tracks that fans have been eagerly awaiting.

The EP features “Turbulence,” “Jogodo,” “Iskolodo,” and “Alaye,” blending Wizkid’s smooth vocals with Asake’s street-inspired energy. The duo announced the release on Instagram, sharing a promotional video captioned, “Real EP Vol. 1 ti jade bayi,” instantly creating buzz across social media.

This release comes on the heels of their lead single, “Jogodo,” which debuted on January 16 and quickly broke streaming records on Spotify Nigeria, pulling in 1.388 million streams in 24 hours — the highest opening day for any collaborative track on the platform. “Jogodo” also debuted at No. 1 on Spotify Nigeria and reached No. 82 on the global chart, signaling the duo’s growing international influence.

Real Vol. 1 adds another history in Wizkid and Asake’s musical partnership, which has previously produced fan favourites like “MMS” and “Bad Girl.” Each track on the EP showcases their complementary styles while maintaining the energy and rhythm that fans have come to expect.

Individually, both artists have enjoyed a phenomenal 2025.
