A Year of Undeniable Victories

2025 has been nothing short of transformative for the “Fuji Moto” crooner. From sold-out shows to chart-topping releases, Seyi Vibez has proven that his unique blend of street credibility and melodic prowess resonates far beyond Lagos. His consistency in delivering quality music has earned him a loyal fanbase that spans continents, and his streaming numbers are absolutely staggering.

Let the numbers speak: With over 2.2 billion streams on Audiomack, Seyi Vibez is the platform’s most-streamed African artist. On Spotify Nigeria, he emerged as the second
most-streamed artist in 2025, trailing only Wizkid. His dominance on Apple Music Nigeria is equally impressive, where he ranked in the top five alongside Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake, and BNXN. His album Fuji Moto alone racked up over 4.5 million Spotify streams in just 24 hours upon release, proving his massive pull with audiences. What’s more remarkable is that his hit single “Pressure” accumulated over 2 million streams within its first 24 hours, and tracks like “Shaolin,” “Mario Kart,” and “Happy Song” have become fixtures on replay playlists across Nigeria.

The partnership between his independent label, NSNV Inc (No Seyi, No Vibez), and global powerhouse Empire has been a game-changer. This collaboration has provided Seyi Vibez with the infrastructure and international reach needed to compete on the global stage while maintaining the creative control that makes his music so authentic. Empire’s distribution muscle combined with NSNV Inc’s grassroots understanding of the Nigerian music scene has created a formula that’s working brilliantly.

Going Global: International Collaborations and Productions

One of the most exciting developments in 2025 was watching Seyi Vibez break international boundaries with strategic collaborations and world-class production. His work with Grammy award-winning producer Mally Mall (known for his work with Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Bone Thugs โ€˜nโ€™ Harmony, Tupac, E40, Usher, 50 Cent,Chris Brown etc) and hitmaker Roberto Diaz brought a new dimension to his sound, particularly on tracks like “Pressure,” which also featured a remix with multi-platinum American rapper French Montana.

The Fuji Moto album showcased Seyi Vibez’s global ambitions while staying rooted in his Yoruba heritage. The project featured an impressive lineup of international collaborators including American rappers NLE Choppa (“Mario Kart”) and Trippie Redd (“Up”), demonstrating his ability to bridge African street-pop with hip-hop culture. His collaboration with Black Sherif on “Sin City” and features alongside BNXN and Olamide on tracks like “Set Up” and “99” further solidified his position as an artist who can hold his own with the best.

And here’s the icing on the cake: His contribution to Olamide’s “99” earned him a spot on former U.S. President Barack Obama’s 2025 favorite songs playlist. That’s right, from the streets of Ikorodu to Obama’s playlist. The recognition marked a high point in his global ascent, proving that authentic Nigerian artistry resonates at the highest levels.

What 2026 Holds

As we turn our attention to 2026, the excitement is palpable. Just days into the new year, Omah Lay set social media ablaze when he posted a photo with Seyi Vibez on his Instagram story. The image has sparked widespread speculation about an incoming collaboration, and
fans are already declaring it as one of the most anticipated pairings of the year. Both artists bring distinct yet complementary energiesโ€”Omah Lay’s smooth, emotionally charged delivery alongside Seyi Vibez’s street-savvy melodic approach could create something truly special.

While official details remain tightly under wraps, industry insiders are buzzing about what this collaboration could mean for Afrobeats in 2026. If the chemistry in that photo translates to the studio, we’re looking at a potential anthem that could dominate charts throughout the year.
Beyond this highly anticipated collaboration, expect Seyi Vibez to continue expanding his artistic horizons. If 2025 taught us anything, it’s that he’s not afraid to experiment, evolve, and push boundaries. Whether it’s exploring new sounds, collaborating with international artists, or taking NSNV Inc to new heights, 2026 promises to be another landmark year.

The Vibez Legacy

What makes Seyi Vibez’s journey so compelling is its authenticity. He represents the dreams of every young Nigerian who believes in their talent and refuses to compromise their vision. His music speaks to the streets, the clubs, and the heart, all at once. As he continues to grow, both as an artist and an entrepreneur, he’s not just building a careerโ€”he’s building a legacy.

So here’s to Seyi Vibez: for giving us the soundtrack to our lives in 2025, for betting on young talent like Muyeez, and for promising us even more fire in 2026. The vibes are about to get even stronger, and we’re all here for it.
