Doris Ogala Says Her “Mortal Body” Forgave Chris Okafor, Not Her Spirit

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has released another video this morning, adding a fresh twist to the ongoing controversy involving popular cleric Pastor Chris Okafor.

In the new video, Ogala clarified that the forgiveness she earlier announced was not total, saying only her “mortal body” accepted the apology not her “immortal being.”

According to her, Pastor Chris Okafor’s public apology addressed only the physical, human side of her, while the spiritual aspect of the matter remains unresolved.

He apologised to the normal Doris, the mortal Doris. The mortal Doris has accepted. But is God done with Doris?” she asked.

Ogala described herself as “just a vessel God is using,” insisting that the issue has now gone beyond her personal control. She stated that she cannot stop whatever she believes God is doing through the situation.

She also strongly criticised those who advised her to accept the apology, calling them hypocrites. According to her, forgiveness cannot be complete when the apology itself was, in her words, not sincere.

“I cannot accept an apology where he came out and said all I said is not true. Chris, you have not started. You have not started,” she said.Ogala maintained that the apology was damage control, not genuine remorse, and claimed that “God in heaven has not accepted it.”

In another strong statement that has sparked widespread reactions online, Doris Ogala alleged that members of Pastor Chris Okafor’s church were “under hypnosis” and “under bondage.” She claimed there is something hidden, saying “there’s maggot somewhere,” suggesting deeper issues yet to be exposed.

“God is not done using my body and my voice. God wants Chris to come out and confess,” she said.

Towards the end of the video, Ogala made a major declaration, saying the matter should now be handled by law enforcement. She urged Pastor Chris Okafor to report himself to the police, adding that she is also ready to do the same and present her evidence.

“The best thing for you is to go to the police station, and I will also do the same with my evidence,” she stated.

She concluded by saying that what is happening now marks “the beginning of the end,” insisting that the exposure unfolding is not her doing but something she believes is divinely orchestrated.

As expected, the video has reignited heated debates online, with Nigerians once again split between those who believe Ogala is speaking her truth and others who feel the situation has escalated too far.
