Blaqbonez Speaks Out After Harassment Petition: “I’m Being Targeted, Not Guilty”

In a statement shared on his verified X (Twitter) account, Blaqbonez described the allegations as “false, malicious, and orchestrated to destroy my image.” He explained that the accusations are part of a larger smear campaign by individuals within the entertainment industry who, according to him, have been trying to bring him down.

“I have endured bullying and online harassment for months. This petition is another attempt to tarnish my name. I am innocent, and I have nothing to hide,” he said in his post.

The petition, filed by a woman identified as Jane Doe through her legal representatives, alleges that the artist violated several sections of the Cybercrimes Act (2015) and the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act (2015). It also referenced the Nigeria Data Protection Act (2023), claiming that private content was shared without consent.

According to reports, the petitioner accused Blaqbonez of sending threatening messages and sharing intimate details about their private interactions online. However, no formal charges have been filed at this time.

Fans React as Blaqbonez Maintains Innocence

Since his statement went public, fans and industry colleagues have shown mixed reactions. Some expressed strong support for the rapper, applauding him for speaking up, while others urged him to provide more clarity as investigations unfold.

Blaqbonez reaffirmed that he has already contacted his legal team and is fully cooperating with law enforcement to address the situation. “I’ll allow the truth to come out. I won’t be intimidated or silenced,” he wrote.

The rapper, known for hit songs like “Back in Uni” and “Like Ice Spice”, has built a reputation for being outspoken and unfiltered on social media. His response to the petition continues to trend across platforms, with hashtags like #BlaqbonezSpeaks and #JusticeForBlaq gaining traction among fans.

As of press time, there has been no official comment from the alleged victim or her lawyers.
