Visa has officially launched the Visa Affluent Rewards Programme in Nigeria, bringing premium lifestyle benefits to Visa Infinite, Visa Signature, and Visa Platinum cardholders. The new offering delivers local rewards and exclusive privileges designed to match the expectations of affluent Nigerians. 

The programme includes perks like during-check-in in top luxury hotels, discounted stays for staycations, access to spa and wellness escapes, fine dining offers, and high-end fashion discounts. Visa says these rewards are curated to reflect both the global standards of premium services and the local tastes of Nigerians. 

What the Rewards Include & Who Qualifies

To be eligible, cardholders must hold one of the premium Visa cards — Infinite, Signature, or Platinum — issued by participating banks. Existing holders can opt into the programme through a registration process, while those without qualifying cards can upgrade via partner banks. 

Visa’s regional vice president, Andrew Uaboi said the programme responds to growing demand for luxury, convenience, and locally relevant experiences. He added that affluent Nigerians want access to rewards that are not just global but reflect their lifestyle in Nigeria. The partnership with leading Nigerian merchants underpins many of the perks being offered.
