David Adeleke emphasized the role of data intelligence in shaping the future of media. He explained how understanding industry shifts and applying data-driven solutions can help creators grow sustainably. Adeleke shared the challenges of building a system that allows creators to earn consistently. His advice to young creators was to focus on less crowded niches, excel in their chosen fields and think long term. For him, this is a legacy project. “Ecosystem is everything,” he said, while urging creators to embrace time, consistency and collaboration to overcome the stigma of being Nigerian content creators.

Uchechi Ihuoma also inspired the audience with her story. Starting as a freelancer after school, she is now the CEO of Content Curated. She encouraged creators to stop waiting for permission and to “show up and put yourself in the room.” Her key themes were diligence, delivery and thinking globally while executing locally. In a bold moment, she pitched a partnership with OSG Media live on stage, underscoring the importance of collaboration in scaling creative businesses.

Yemisi Odunsaya, popularly known as Sisi Yemmie, recounted her journey from studying medicine to discovering her passion for communication and content creation. She described how a single brand deal during her university days transformed her career path. Today, she has expanded into entrepreneurship and recently launched a kids’ food brand. Her advice to creators was clear: find your strength, focus on it and allow others to support areas outside your expertise.

Tosin Ajibade, founder of Olorisupergal Media, shared her decade-long relationship with Big Brother Naija and MultiChoice, highlighting the importance of vision and positioning. She urged creators to avoid comparisons, recognize their unique value and monetize every skill. “Do not leave money on the table,” she said, reinforcing that collaboration and problem-solving are at the core of leadership in the digital space.

The Digital Creative Summit at Landmark Lagos provided creators with not just inspiration but practical roadmaps for thriving in Nigeria’s evolving digital ecosystem.
