“Any Woman Who Refuses to Do DNA Is Hiding Something” – Yul Edochie’s Comment About DNA Stirs Uproar

Nigerian actor Yul Edochie recently shared his take on the topic of mothers being told to carry out DNA tests on their children.

Recall that the Nigerian social media space was filled with several hot takes on the topic of DNA after singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad died and his widow, Wunmi, was questioned about the paternity of their son, Liam.

In a new development, Wunmi finally granted her first interview after Mohbad’s death, where she addressed the DNA matter among other things.

Shortly after Wunmi’s interview, Yul Edochie took to his Instagram page to condemn women who are weary of taking DNA tests.

According to the movie star, a woman who refuses to do the test is hiding something because a clear conscience fears nothing.

In Yul’s words:

“Any woman who refuses to do DNA test on her child when it is demanded, is hiding something. Don’t fall for any excuse she gives to you. She is hiding something. A clear conscience fears nothing.

In another tweet, Yul doubled down on his claims, noting that if doing a DNA test will make a marriage crash, the man should still go ahead and do it:

“If you feel the child is not yours, and you want to do DNA test, go ahead and do it.
If your woman threatens to leave the marriage or relationship if you do DNA test, it simply means she’s hiding something.
Go ahead and do the DNA test. You deserve to know your stand.
There’s nothing wrong with raising another man’s child, but it’s something you must be aware of and decide to do willingly, not to be tricked into it.”
