Former Senate President Bukola Saraki Celebrates His Son, Seni, As He Wins a Grammy

Former Nigerian Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki recently shared a post about his Seni, where he celebrated him for his tremendous feat as a Grammy Award winner.

Seni Saraki was one of the Nigerians who won a gong at the recently concluded 67th Grammy Awards ceremony. Seni and his team won their Grammy Award for their contribution to the โ€˜Bob Marley: One Loveโ€™ soundtrack, which earned the award for โ€˜Best Reggae Albumโ€™.

In a video post by Senator Saraki, Seni was heard speaking about his Grammy win and how much he appreciates everyone who worked on the project with him and made his dream come true.

The former Senate president expressed joy in seeing his sonโ€™s passion being recognised globally. and maintained he is โ€œsuper proudโ€ of him.

“Congratulations, Seni, on winning your first Grammy last night for your work on the โ€˜Bob Marley: One Loveโ€™ soundtrack, which took home the award for Best Reggae Album!”

“Seeing you pour your heart into your passion and having it recognized on the global stage is an indescribable joy.”

“Well done! We are super proud of you!”

Bob Marley: One Loveโ€”Music Inspired by the Film (Deluxe) won Best Reggae Album at the 67th Grammy Awards. Both Nigerian artists contributed full songs to the project: Wizkid with One Love and Bloody Civilian with Natural Mystic.

Toyin Saraki, the wife of the former Senate president disclosed that Seni was the CEO of NATIVE Networks and his partners and artists at @IslandRecords Music team and @ParamountPics celebrated the monumental achievement of winning a Grammy Award.

Seni is not the only Nigerian to win big at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Afropop singer, Tems picked up a Grammy gong for the second time and this time it was for her song “Love Me Jeje.”

Also, on the Bob Marley: One Love album who also picked up a gong was Bloody Civilian and Wizkid.

President Tinubu was one of the first people to react to Tems’ win while congratulating other young Nigerians who were nominated and won in one way or another.
