Streetpop maestro, Azeez Fashola more popularly known by his stage name Naira Marley seem finally set to address some of the allegations levelled against him by Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.

Nearly two years after Naira Marley was severally accused of having a hand in the death of his former signee, Mohbad, the singer finally comes out to fight back.

OSG recalls that at the heights of the #justiceforMohbad movement, Iyabo Ojo was a focal point. She even visited another of Naira Marley’s former signees DJ Sparkle, who needed medical attention.

Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh led different groups to call for justice for Mohbad. They called for the arrest of Naira Marley and Sammy Larry, accusing them of having a hand in Mohbad’s death.

Naira Marley shares DMs sent to him by Iyabo Ojo

In a series of posts shared on his Insta-story, Naira Marley exposed the different messages sent to him by Iyabo Ojo in 2021.

The messages revealed different times Iyabo Ojo sought multiple favours from Naira Marley. In the chat, Iyabo requested Naira Marley’s presence at some of her events, including her late mother’s remembrance party.

Another chat saw Iyabo requesting Naira Marley’s assistance to help her adopted son, who was into music. Naira Marley, however, did not give any reason for sharing the old chats.

But it has sparked mixed reactions online, and different allegations have trailed the leaked DMs. Some have noted that Naira Marley’s behaviour towards Iyabo Ojo when she sought favours from him and refused was the major reason why she led the attacks against the singer.
