Veteran Nigerian rapper Anthonia Yetunde Alabi, popularly known as Sasha P, has raised concerns about the growing fixation on wealth in Nigeria.

The 41-year-old artist criticized the tendency to equate a person’s worth with their financial status, noting that wealthy individuals are often revered as if they were deities.

Sasha P emphasized that money does not define a person’s character; instead, it merely magnifies their true nature.

She further expressed dismay over the common practice of gauging a person’s credibility or influence based on their net worth, calling it an unhealthy trend in society.
