Popular Nigerian artist, Odumodublvck has stirred controversy with his remarks about his relationship with music, claiming it has not done anything for him.

In an interview, the singer described music as a reliable friend but admitted he does not love it.

A video of the interview, shared on social media, shows Odumodublvck explaining that music merely mirrors the effort he puts into it.

He said: “I don’t love music. But music and I are friends. I like you (music), and one thing I know about you is that you are dependable. If you say you’ll do something, you’ll do it because you meet me at the point of my effort.

“Whatever work you put into music is what you’ll get back. Music doesn’t cheat anyone. But to say I love music? No, no, no. Music, on its own, has never gone out of its way to do anything for me.

“It’s the effort I’ve invested that has brought results, and I’m fine with that. So, music shouldn’t mind me saying I don’t love her.”
