On Wednesday, October 18, Mr. Ibu, who is battling an unspecified illness that could cost him his leg, released a video seeking public assistance to get good medical care.
The foundation started when they learned of his recent health challenges and the financial burdens associated with his medical treatment. They felt a deep sense of responsibility to assist in any way they could. They promptly paid off his entire medical expenses as of Friday.
The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation stated it’s honored to have extended support to the renowned comedic icon who has graced Nigerian screens and brought joy and laughter to countless homes over the past four decades.
