Nigerian Afrobeat star of international repute, Wizkid has finally reacted to the ban of Twitter’s operation within the confines of Nigerian media space by the Federal Government.

The award-winning artiste who also has a Grammy award to his credit took to the Insta-story section of his verified Instagram account on Saturday (June 5) to share his two kobo on the trending issue.

Wizkid, in his post, referred to Nigeria as UAR – which stands for United African Republic, the proposed new name for the country which was presented to the House of Representatives within the week.

Wizkid wrote; 

“UAR…na so the ting go dey sup?”.
