A top executive of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has berated the dress former Vice President, Atiku’s daughter-in-law, Fatima Ribadu wore for her wedding.
Ribadu and Atiku’s son, Aliyu Abubakar, tied the knot in a lovely wedding ceremony in Asokoro, Abuja on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
Fatima rocked a dazzling couture wedding outfit designed by a Dubai fashion designer, however, netizens have expressed distaste in her choice of dress for the glorious occasion as they describe it as ‘unislamic’.
Dr. Baba Ahmed took to his Twitter page and wrote;
Today I saw pictures of a Muslim bride dressed in a manner totally unbecoming of her faith and culture. Fewer things made me sadder. I appeal to our young people and us parents to stop aping cultures that are not ours,” he added.
