Officer Tolulope Arotile, Nigeria’s first female combat pilot, who died from a road accident after sustaining head injuries, has been buried today at the military cemetery in Abuja.

Those in attendance were the deceased’s family members, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal, Abubakar Sadique and also the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello since the flying officer hailed from Kogi State.

May her soul rest in peace.
