The acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Professor Daniel Pondei has left the hospital where he was rushed to after he fainted during the panel session at Abuja.

Daniel Pondei and the minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio were earlier invited to a panel session for an interrogation into the alleged misappropriation of funds in the Niger Delta Development Commission. However, Daniel Pondei lost consciousness when he was being grilled as to the funds of the Commission by the House of Representatives Committee.

According to Channels TV, Daniel Pondei already left the hospital. We hope he gets well soon so that the probe into the Niger Delta Development Commission can continue. Details later…
