Organizers of the Ballon D’Or award has officially confirmed that this year’s award has been cancelled.

This will be the first time since 1956 that the awards will not be given to any of the world class footballers who have had tremendous impacts during the season.

Giving a reason for the cancellation, the organizers said the current Coronavirus pandemic has made them come to a conclusion to abort plans for the award this year.
