1. Daniel (Dan) Foster was a popular radio personality who was popularly called “The Big Dawg” or “The Top Dawg.”

2. Dan Foster started his career by working with a lot of radio stations in America after he read Broadcasting and Drama at the Morgan State University, USA.

3. He moved into Nigeria in 2000 and joined Cool FM, a radio station where he quickly made a name.

4. Not long after, Dan Foster received an award of the Best Radio Presenter of the year. He also won the Nigeria Media Merit Awards for ‘Best Radio Personality’ in 2003, 2004 and 2005, amidst other awards.

5. Dan Foster rose quickly in Cool FM and soon became the creator and director of the Cool FM Praise Jam Concerts, a show that started in 2004 with a total of over 22,000 people in attendance.

6. He joined Classic FM in 2016 where he worked till his death on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.

7. Dan Foster was a judge in 2007 on the ‘Idols West Africa Series’ and also a judge in 2013 at the Nigeria’s Got Talent Show

8. Dan Foster also featured in a Nollywood movie ‘Face of a Liar’ in 2001.
