Reggae music icon, Majekodunmi Fasheke popularly know as Majek Fashek, has died.
The musician who has for a long while been battling with his health was said to have died in the United States on Monday June 1.
His Manager, Omenka Uzoma, took to Instagram to make the announcement on Tuesday.

Fashek was a Nigerian singer, songwriter and guitarist best known for the 1988 album ‘Prisoner of Conscience’ , which included the multiple award-winning single “Send Down the Rain”.
Also known as ‘The Rainmaker’, he has worked with various artists including Tracy Chapman, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg, and Beyoncรฉ.
