The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, out of good will has handed over one of the forfeited property of Diezani Alison-Madueke to the Lagos State Government to be used as isolation centre. This property was forfeited following the order of the Federal High Court, Lagos after series of corruption cases were brought against the former minister of petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.
The Lagos Zonal Head of the Commission, Mohammed Rabo has also assured the Lagos State Government that the Commission is willing to help in the fight against the pandemic and that the Lagos State Government should not hesitate to ask them for help when they need one. In the gratitude speech given by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu said “โpart of the challenges we have been facing is getting isolation centres for COVID-19 patients. We will go round the facility to see what we can do to improve on itโ.
