The Secretary General of the Federation who is also the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force, in his address to the public, has assured Nigerians that the Madagascar’s herbal cure would be put to the quality and safety test before it is used on the Covid-19 patients in the country.

The Secretary-General of the Federation said that the safety test will consist of standard validation process for pharmaceuticals and no other exception will be allowed. He also said “Nigeria has only one National Response to the Covid19 pandemic. Where there are differing Strategies is in the implementation of non-pharmaceutical interventions. But as far as the (Health) Response is concerned, there is only one National Response”.
