American comedian, T.v host and actress, Tiffany Haddish was honored with her first Emmy’s award at Saturday’s creative arts Emmys for hosting “Saturday Night Live”.
Since her breakout performance in the movie “Girls Trip,” Tiffany has been an Oscar presenter and the first black female MTV Movie & TV Awards host.
Although she was not at the Emmys, presenter Tichina Arnold accepted the award on her behalf.
“Tiffany couldn’t be here tonight. But, guess what, Tiffany! I’ve got your award, girl!” Arnold said, holding up the statuette triumphantly.
On receiving the award, Tiffany took to Instagram to say:
“So Look at this! Back in 2014 I picked up a friend of mines Emmy and was like I am going to get one of these.
