Unknown gunmen attacked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday morning.
Sahara Reporters, report that the gunmen were heavily armed and invaded the premises at about 5 AM, shooting sporadically and damaging vehicles.
The gunmen are said to have been repealed by the guards on duty, escaping in a getaway vehicle.
They did however state their mission before leaving.
They left behind a white envelope that contained a death threat addressed to Ishaku Sharu, head of the Foreign Exchange Malpractices Fraud Section.
