The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated their counterpart from Algeria today in the match day 2 encounter which took place at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Two Victor Moses’ goals from each half and a goal from skipper John Obi Mikel sealed the match for the Super Eagles. Bentallab of Algeria had put one back after Mikel’s goal before Moses restored the two goal lead at 90 minutes

Nigeria now top group with six points from two matches. Nigeria’s next match is away against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
