A former minister of foreign affairs and ex chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
His arrest is in connection with the ongoing investigation into arms purchase by Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Tom Ikimi who was once an APC chieftain decamped to the PDP during Former President Jonathan’s second term bid.
It is unclear whether Tom Ikimi will be charged in relation to the arms scandal which allegedly involves the sum of $2.1 billion.
