Reports indicate that a bomb explosion ripped through a market in Chibok, Borno state today in the latest spate of Boko Haram attacks.

Nearly two years ago, Boko haram insurgents kidnapped 267 girls from the town of Chibok with the girls still thought to be missing.

Another bomb blast went off at a security checkpoint as scores of people are feared dead.
There has been no official confirmation of casualty figures.
