Islamic State (ISIS) militant sect has confirmed that ‘Jihadi John,’ a British jihadist featured in many of the group’s execution videos, was killed in an airstrike in Syria. The deadly executioner was infamously known for killing many foreign hostages.

In its online magazine Dabiq, the terror group said Mohammed Emwazi was killed on 12 November in their Syrian stronghold of Raqqa.
