The death of the APC Kogi state Governorship candidate, Prince Audu Abubakar has opened up an opportunity for a new candidate.
INEC announced this afternoon that it would allow the APC to substitute a new candidate for the late Prince Audu.
Alrhough the elections had commenced before the APC candidate passer away, the elections will continue with voting in 90 polling units on December 5.
The APC has disclosed that it will hold fresh primaries to pick Audu’s replacement and John Oyegun, the Party’s National Secretary said the decision was made after a party meeting.
