NASA has revealed that new data suggests that salty water may flow on the surface of Mars, over craters and down canyons.
The recent discovery by researchers holds a new hope for discovery of life forms on Mars, even though the water is too salty to sustain any life forms.
Researchers are still unsure where the water flows from but it is thought to be responsible for the dark streaks and stains on the Martian terrain.
Nasa’s Jim Green said “Mars is not the dry, arid planet that we thought of in the past, Liquid water has been found on Mars.”
