Force Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Abuja, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has urged Nigerians to alleviate the food crisis in the country by engaging in farming.
The advice was given by Olumuyiwa Adejobi in response to an X (formerly known as Twitter) user who asked for an update on his food purchases in light of the challenging economic conditions.
“Have you bought yam recently sir? Oh, I forgot you are also among the elites”, the X user with the handle @bellamybellamyy wrote.
In response, Adejobi stated that he didn’t need to purchase yams from the market because he owned a farm.
“I don’t buy yam because I have in my farm. It’s good to be a farmer if you wish to know. Being an elite or educated one doesn’t stop you from being a farmer. Farmers don’t lack. I go green always”, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi replied.
